Do you have a Medical/Life Insurace?

Me, MrsW and the kids have private medical insurance. Here in NZ we also have public funded national healthcare that's paid for through the PAYE tax system.

I have life and disability insurance...

How many km's in to your trip did the slide occur? Did you check your tyre pressures beforehand?

It's quite possible that your tyres were still cold and not offering maximum...

Since pressures should be checked on cold tyres it's worthwhile stowing a digital pressure gauge under the rear seat.

250r is a great light touring bike !

Seems a bit unusual to lose a cup (250ml) for such a short distance Harry. I regularly do that distance without any oil loss.

If you're sure the bike is losing oil and there's no sign of leaks...
