Just to reiterate what others have already said, the closed end of the clip always faces the direction of travel. If this is not true, and the chain rubs against something, the clip can pop right off...

90% of my upshifts are done without the clutch....

90% of my upshifts are done without the clutch. They are smooth as silk and deadly fast. It just requires preloading the shifter and good throttle control. I usually shift at around 9000 rpm.

it sounds like whoever put that oil in your bike at the dealership is an idiot. you should have drained some of the oil yourself. I wouldn't have ridden my bike like that.

I'll +1 every word of this. Every low mileage bike I've ever seen that used oil was ridden very easily like the recommended shift points and manual suggests. Just ride it like you'd normally ride...

I fitted the power commander v today & I must say...

I fitted the power commander v today & I must say it did make a difference to the bike, I had John at jettuning make up a map for me as I'd already had the boys at Honda play with the stock computer....
