I wear Olympia Airglide pants with their...

I wear Olympia Airglide pants with their Swtchback jacket. Both come with a waterproof/wind proof liner. With the liners out, there is plenty of airflow. Btw, I'm in Chicago, too.

Perhaps a picture of the whole jacket would help ID it. Beyond that, leather IS better, but that does not mean textile is bad. There are different grades of Cordura and most bike jackets are made...

Took me about 2 months to realize that a gear indicator was redundant. Your ears your feet and your butt will tell you if you are in the right gear. Spend the money on protective apparel.

Someone here recommended putting saltines down instead of cones. Easy to transport, you can leave them there for the local wildlife, and if you get hungry, you have a pocketful of crackers.

I was there Friday and Saturday. I'll be sticking with my CBR250r for now, but I think the CB1100 with some bags on it and maybe a windshield could be my next bike...or the Diavel...or BMW...

Frustraded about the ABS, but my wife loves this bike and I can see why...feels light, good seat position, and more storage for longer trips. She's definitely going tot test ride this bike.

I registered our bikes for Ipass, but I don't carry it with me. Our bikes seldom set off the sensor, but if they do, the toll road folks just deduct the toll from our account.
