I think the difference is full system, you have to mess with the ECU and the slip-on, just take off the muffler. Cost is a big factor, especially if you don't have the right tools.

Okay, I was thinking it was the other way around...The Full system NOT needing the ECU reset. I think that definitely makes the decision for me, slip-on it is...I'm lazy.

I've got the full leo gp system on mine. All I did was unhook the battery for about an hour while I did the install. It took a few days for the ecu to reset to the new exhaust. It runs great I've put almost 2300 miles on it with the leo on and love it

just purchased a lv evo II used but good from a forum member,
not installed yet, waiting til after its coming main service..
impressions; made in italy by well respected company..
looks and feels good quality, balanced design, clean
elegant, parts fit together snugly and well..
complies with ec directive 97/24 re permissible sound etc..
designed to work with existing ecu mapping etc..
comes with restricting cup with large holes in it which
fits into front of cannister [mine carbon, black bike]
also two other sound reduction inserts of varying
effects on sound levels,, i'll be leaving the larger one in..
[and the other restrictor at front of cannister]

weight difference;
original; 8,438g [18.6lb]
lv evoII; 2,170g [4.8lb] (including connector pipe]
weight difference/loss; 13.8lb

im happy with the design as it suits my bike
incl black carbon with black bike, and its tight
balanced design, regardless of any or no hp gain,
plus the almost 14lb weight saving a nice bonus
