Side Stand

My bike was leaning over a bit more than I liked especially on uneven ground. The owners manual says dont lock the steering to the right because it may fall over. I took off the stand and welded a piece of 2mm plate on the bottom of the stand and then ground it back to look like original. Dont weld stand while on the bike, you may bugger up your electronics. My bike stands more upright now but not to much to fall the other way.

I think the only time you have to worry about it falling over is if it sinks in newer black top on a hot day.

Just carry a crushed soda can. Place the can on the ground with the stand on top of it... No sinking...

Ya keep your will to the left and there are throw down plates for the softer surfaces that wont sink, but a crushed can works just as good.

Just google parking puck or sidestand plate.
