I love the flashing turn signal incorporated in the brake . I'd run both the turn signals and the brake turn signal .

After coming up behind another CBR250 in the daylight, I was disappointed in the brightness of the taillight. Based on this post, I bought the same bulb on ebay. The taillight is much brighter with that LED "kick" on the brake light. Arrived from China in about a week. Plugs right in. Really, the best $6 I have ever spent.

(Of course, with the possible exception of that $6 box of condoms in high school.)

now to lure you further. i filtered whole of aliexpress and found something even better

i have upgraded to this one in all my motorcycles and even car.

1pcs P21/30W 1157 Cree 4014 45led SMD car rear light stop bulbs auto brake lights back fog lamps 12V red white UI0018-in Light Source from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

these are 2 times brighter than the bulb you use currently.
these come in 3 modes.

type 1 standard - low-high mode

type 2 low - when you press brake - strobe ( 5 seconds ) -

type 3 high mode always - when brake applied - continuous strobe until brake lever pressed.

i took the third one. mention the same in comments when you buy. very good seller. this one is really kickass. its very bvright when on and flashes when you apply brake till the time lever is pulled and go back to 100% brightness when released.

updating post : looks like that one went out of stock. was for 6$

Hi,

Would you be able to recommend an updated/available one from AliExpress that is similar or better to this one? Very interested in purchasing, don't want to get the wrong/low-output model. Have you replaced turn signal bulbs with any of these either? Would love to do an ALL-LED setup.

Thanks for your help,

Kristian

My recommendations are in my signature.

IMO, you should not mess with the wonderful taillight Honda gave us, but instead augment it.

Turn signals are also great from the factory. They need separation from the center-line of the bike to help cagers understand what you are doing.
