LED Headlights

Hey everyone,

I currently am looking at replacing my front headlight with the brightest LED headlight I can find, does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I figured I would also replace the daytime running lights (the two smaller bulbs on each side) with LED's as well, does anyone have any good suggestions for LED's with regards to these lights?

I had an idea of trying to replace the smaller daytime running lights with H4 sized headlights. The stock bulb fits through the hole, but doesn't have anything to hold it in place, nor does it penetrate all the way through, though it does seem like most of it does.

If I did go this route, I think it would require some hardwiring to the battery, in which case I might be able to find a way to have a custom switch that could maybe dim the two side bulbs so it would not be as bright.

Thoughts on this? Suggestions? Has anyone tried this before?

I have a Cyclops LED H4 bulb in my SV with a single round headlight.

It is brighter than stock, runs cooler (an issue with the SV), and both elements come on when on high beam (unlike the standard bulb).

The pattern is OK, but the LEDs are arranged 180 degrees from each other unlike a conventional 360 degree bulb, so there's a line in the pattern. It's still puts out more light than a SilverStar bulb.

It was about $70 from Rocky Mountain ATV a while back.

I don't think I would use a H4 for the marker lights. There should be other options.
