Cheers, we do have a high ratio of corners per kilometer

I lived in Melbourne for a short while back in the nineties when my hair wasn't so grey.
I remember scaring myself shitless racing other bikes on some of the roads East of Melbourne, in particular Reefton and Black Spurs. Managed to get away with it all and had a blast.

Video made by a forum member several years ago. I've been riding my 2012 in similar fashion for six years. Runs as strong or stronger than ever and uses no oil.

Torque drops off quickly after 8000 rpm so that's where I change up when I'm in a hurry. Feels quicker that way to me.

Your correct, I was just having a laugh.

I did two track days on my 250R and soon worked out that there was little to be gained by wringing it right out even though it was fun to do that.

I ride mine in that range frequently. I find that it hates lower revs. The cbr250r seems quite comfortable and at home in that rev range.

After watching this my worries are over and I might even take it out on the open road for a bit of fun!
