2012 CBR250R Theft Recovery

Hi all,
Bill here from sunny Oregon. I just purchased a theft recovery 2012 CBR. All locks are beyond repair. I ordered a lock set from Amazon and what showed up was a three wire ignition switch. The only connector I can find that needs anything plugged into it is on the right side of frame and is a black male 6 pin connector. I appreciate any help you can provide.

This is the lock set you need (which has all three locks keyed alike), shown as Ref# 1 here: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ho...bar-top-bridge

US CBRs have three locks?
I'm fairly certain mine has only the one for the ignition and the one for the compartment under the pillion seat.

Yes, three locks. I manged to pick the gas tank lock and order a new one. As far as the wiring goes....I was in for a surprise when I removed the gas tank. A simple ignition lock swap is not in my future. The main harness has been chopped up a little. I will splice a new connector in from a donor bike. Many thanks to all for the information on this forum. It certainly made things easier.
I should have pulled the tank before my original post as I now know where the ignition plugs in. I will post pics as soon as I get the fix completed.

Ah, the gas tank cover. How could I forget about that? *facepalm*
