Hepco & Becker C-Bow Luggage Set Plus Rack Install

I finally purchased a set of Hepco & Becker (same as Krauser) C-Bow set of soft luggage and their rear rack. I looked hard at the Givi hard luggage out of Thailand and hope I do not regret going that way. I ordered it on a Monday and it arrived on Friday. It was a steep $604 for the three items. The C-Bow, the cases and the rear rack. I installed them without much trouble and if I can then anyone can do this.

Here is one photo.

Follow the link to all 28 pictures I took. The top bag in the pictures is another brand that I have been using for more than a year now.

Very nice. Where did you get them from?

Everyone has the right to be offended but just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right!

Wow, looks like it is well worth the investment.

Is there a piece of luggage designed to specifically fit the rear center rack behind the pillion?

First off a sticker on the rack is says the weight limit is 5 kg (just 11lbs).

The instructions say you have to install an universal alu rack (for top cases) instead of the alu palette that came with the rack.

The instructions say if this rear rack is ordered together with
a top case, you get a alu rack instead of
the alu palette.

This is shown here:

So I would have to purchase a different top plate to mount one of their top boxes. Some are found here:

I am guessing for the side saddle bag you only need c-bow and the bag?

I did not need to purchase the rear rack. I was afraid that if I purchased another brand of rear rack that the installation might interfere with C-Bow setup. I did not do any research to see if that was the case.

As it is the rear rack is to small to hold much of anything. I do have a very small igloo cooler that fits fine. When and if I needed to utilize it in any meaningful way, I would have to get the optional wider palette or use some sort of drybag that would extend out over it instead of using the tail bag I have now.

Brought two 12 packs of drinks home tonight. One in each bag. I was a little surprised they would fit. You do have to unzip the expansion section to get it in, but then you can zip it back up.
