Need help ordering parts/fixing rust

So I'm a little confused on what I'll need. My little cbr and I had a bad fall last year and I finally have the funds to fix the plastics. Now mainly I'm looking to figure out the name of this plastic part that is cracked and what bolts I will need along with it.

[2012 CBR 250r)

Is there anyway I can replace this boot properly without taking the joint off it's socket?

My final question would be if there is anything you guys do for little tiny rust spots? What do you guys use for paint to cover it up?

P.S I know my brake res top is screwed ( literally) I will be replacing that with my order as well.

Good place to start for identifying parts are the exploded diagrams of the CBR250R on Partzilla.com
Small chips in the paint can be touched up with an exact match paint pen ordered from Color Rite:

Look under "Upper Cowl" on Partzilla. It's probably Item #6 , "cowl L side inner" or (more likely) Item #15 , "lid assy. L tank"
Can't really tell conclusively from your photo.
The screws for it are also listed, but you can probably use the originals if you still have them and they're not stripped or otherwise damaged.

Thank you. I think you're right! Quick question about the paint. Is that frame paint or just the fairings/ tank paint color. How would you go about getting rid of the rust on the frame and coloring it in?

Your CBR is the same color as my 2011: Asteroid Black Metallic. There are some frame paint codes in the link below.
Check the "Appearance and Modifications" section of this site for color codes for frame paint and tips on painting.
There's a wealth of info on this site and on YouTube about painting and touching up damage on your bike, you just need to get "into the weeds" and do a bunch of research until you find the best method that you think you're capable of.

That's correct, the panel that is cracked in the OP's pic is ref# 15 as shown here: https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ho...0ra/upper-cowl

The frame paint color code for all 2011 - 2013 CBR250R's (except '13 Repsol variant) is NH303M "Mat Axis Gray" - https://www.colorrite.com/product/ho...-gray-1433.cfm

As for the rust spots, just sand down to bare metal, and then apply a coat of primer. after the primer has dried, apply the color coat. FWIW, there is no clear coat used over the color coat on the CBR250R's frame.
