CBR moves to Mainland :)

Sicily, you know is an Island.
So, on April 25th I went for a short trip in the Mainland.
It is not a long trip, but it was fun.
About 160km of Highway.
Two-up riding.
Some pics attached.

pic.1 - This should go in "Let's see your helmet" thread :P
pic.2 - The beach side of Scilla, Sicily in the background
pic.3 - Vespa meeting we casually encountered: many many Vespas with their buzzy horn all over the road O_o
pic.4 - panoramic stop (must do) to take some pictures
pic.5 - The other side of Scilla, see the highway going northwards in the background (it is scarily high on the cliffs)
pic.6 - Two bikes, my CBR and my riding mate's Dorsoduro (trip mode).

Next time we'll go further.

Jealous of your trip mate, wouldn't mind a holiday in that part of the world at the moment. Thanks for sharing your pics.

I could argue with that.
Roads are more narrow here, traffic is similar to Thailand sometimes.
Anyway there are some astonishing landscapes just here in Sicily. The land is very old and rocks in the inner areas are awesome, even if they are significantly (hugely, enormously) smaller than America.
Anyway, I plan to ride all across the Island anytime I can.

Great! I toured France and Spain before for 6 six weeks I think it was, one summer.

A 3 month tour of Europe taking in Italy and the Alps... how cool would that be!

Just coming into your summer time as well. Enjoy your riding.
