used engine kill switch once, when bike dropped cold [slope, backing to park]
to kill engine when tilt sensor failed to do it.. otherwise never use it..

my first impression watching that video was 'the poor bloody ecu!'
it must be just about ready for stress therapy..
wonder what it makes of that sort of imput..

for rider course folks told to kill their engines during training etc,
bear in mind this is a safety factor for that specific circumstance
[multiple motorcycles in or out of gear switched on or off by novices]
and need not be taken as a necessity for typical road use..

reckon that poor motorcycle probably needs an ecu reset by now..

It hasn't happened to me, but thanks for your story. I will be interested to know how it goes for you.

My hunch is the fuel pump relay is sticking, or something like that. The simple test is to
a) leave the red ESS switch alone and on
b) turn on the key switch and listen. If you do not hear the fuel pump cycle on for a few seconds and shut off, don't even try to start the engine. It won't start.
c) Turn the key switch off. Repeat step b until you hear the pump. If it takes several
key on / key off cycles to get the pump to work find out why.

In the video it happened when you had not used the ESS switch. Check the relay.

Thanks HMenke

Here is a video for the problem :

Starting problem CBR250R ABS 2011 - YouTube

I put the fully charged battery this morning, started without any problem, then I turned it off to test again and never started.

The video is my 2nd attempt from this morning.

RR is new and the Stator was tested according to the manual by me with a multimeter.

Thanks in advance!

Garage
Raz, you should make your own topic for help so people can help you. You and the OP have 2 different problems so it just makes it messy and confusing if you have 2 different people with 2 different issues trying to get them solved in 1 thread. lol

Just a suggestion though, you'd most likely get more posts for help too.
