Unhappy Is my fuel pump not priming?

I found a video online out of curiosity after t/s my 2012 250R. I thought what I heard was my fuel pump working.

My video:

Sorry for the DARKNESS

But after watching this video

This guy is uber excited about his new bike skip to 1:22 if it doesn't automatically do it for you

I realize I don't have that same sound...at all. So what is that sound, the fuel pump? the fuel injectors? the Flux Capacitor?

Help me I wanna ride!!

Yes that's the fuel pump. It would be odd if your bike worked ok even though the pump is not priming. Is it hard to start or does it start fine?

I think I hear a similar sound on your video. It's hard to tell with all the shaking and darkness, but it seems like it's timed with when you turn the key. Sounds a little different, but still seems like there is a 2 second "sound" after turning the key.

No it does not start, so I guess I need a new Fuel Pump. There is a sound but it's more of a clicking noise.

I agree, sounds like a bad fuel pump.

Garage
Could the injector be plugged?

This reminds me way too much of my "great buys" that had to have their carburetors completely cleaned with evil chemicals.
