What's been your repair/maintenance experience like?

So, I've had my bike since 2012 and currently the bike has close to 30,000 miles.

What really impressed me about the bike is that pretty much everything is still original. Only thing that really broke on me is the coolant reservoir which developed a hairline crack.

Considering the mileage, I'm pretty surprised that the drive chain and sprockets are still in good condition and even both brake rotors are in good condition. I think the parts are purposely over-spec'ed, considering the low power output of the bike, thus lasting a long time.

I know Honda is known for developing robust machines, but just wanted to know if everyone here is experiencing the same, generally speaking.

Other than the initial 600-mile valve check, the only "maintenance" I've done on my 2011 CBR in the 8 years I've owned it has been changing the oil and coolant regularly and lubing the chain. Not even a hint of a problem that required anything else in all that time.
