I have got 120 miles on mine so far... and I thought that was high!! Lol, I would love to just ride forever and never see the miles go up, but man, 15,000 miles is an accomplishment.

Redline?? HOW DID YOU FIX YOUR 5,500 RPM RATTLE?

Bike was hit by a nice lady and had to replace the headlight assembly and front farings.

This pretty much cured it as it comes from the vibration of the headlight assembly and nose piece, which is amplified through all that fancy plastic. It either wasn't fitted correctly, or something had come loose. It begun at around 500km and got really really bad. Then suddenly it was gone after 16k km.

To help, stick some adhesive foam (for the bottom of table legs etc.) between the top of the headlight assembly and nose fairing. Tighten up all yer bolts, and deep clean/lube your chain and sprockets.

To really do eliminate buzzes and rattles I'd recommend taking off all the fairing, putting piece of adhesive foam between all the pieces, and the metal mirror bases that are wedged against the nose fairing, and put it all back together tightly.

Bought my CBR in January. Normally mileage would be Zero for the winter. I was able to put on 160 miles since new. High mileage for North Idaho, low on the bike

I've had mine since around late Oct. Closing in quickly on 7k miles. I'm likely to hit in this weekend on a trip from phoenix to san Diego. Bike is running great, me and her are closer than ever

I'm at 14,000KM. Aside from letting the oil level get too low (entirely my fault, and engine wouldn't start), I've had no problems.
