Birds are evil...

I'm a newbie, I have had my bike for about 4 days.

I wake up early this morning, and as I lay there in bed I think to myself, there is nobody on the roads Sunday morning. Sounds like the perfect time to ride. I hit the shower, then the road.

I'm riding out in the country and start to think that deer could be an issue this early. (its about 7:00am) I'm on my first 55mph road when this morning dove comes flapping at me from the side of the road and hits me in the right shoulder. I didn't do anything stupid luckily, but it sure freaked me out.

So from that point on I'm thinking, look out for birds. I come around a 45mph curve and 2 crows, and two doves fly off and distract me from the 2 geese standing on the edge of the road. I start begging them in my head, to please do not run out in front of me. They didn't and all is well, but I'm pretty sure birds are evil.

This is a bird.

you missed the part where you just washed the car or bike and they carpet bomb and/or preform a strafing run on the shiny object below them.

I am the Stig's father's brother's cousin's nephew's former roommate.

So what you're saying is that you need some type of bird suppression system on your bike. I'm sure we could rig some saiga 12s on the front and link them to the horn button. Could serve a double purpose.

Yes..they're evil.

There's another video I was searching for, with a similar impact. But with a closer view and crazier crash. This'll have to do.

This was bad but it would have been incredibly worse had there been on oncoming car towards him as he was going down.
