I am 46, turning 47 in December.
I feel that for me
, it was important to wait to be this age to start riding. In my case, and my case only
, I was eager to take risks in my car, flaunt speed limits, and in general drive like a total idiot. Age, experience, accidents,tickets and most of all, having children, encouraged me to slow down and think of other people on the roads too, not just myself. I feel that if I had started to ride as a younger guy, I most likely wouldn't be here typing this right now.
That said, I love riding my beautiful red/silver 250R and I can't believe the amount of compliments that the bike gets. Honda really nailed it with this little beastie!
Here's to open roads, tight turns and blue skies...
