Earplugs for me

I want to join some amateur racing events here in my home state of Utah and I was thinking about buying earplugs. I have some hearing difficulty already and I want to avoid further damage. Would this kind of earplugs work? They are made by a company called Big Ear and I think they have some pretty cool products. Can you guys recommend anything else?

Life is short...so make it worth your while.

I got a big box of the Howard Leight plugs by Honeywell. They are super comfortable to wear for a long time and I think actualy block out just a bit too much noise so I cant just a little bit of the end off and they are now perfect. They also are pretty cheap to get a big box that should last for years.
