First Ride Review: 2017 BMW G310R

Interesting little bike.
I think it's just amazing that we've gone from so many years in the US with hardly ANY choices in the 250-300cc class (other than the Ninja 250 and an occasional cruiser-styled offering from the Big 3), to the simply incredible variety of choices we have today.
That even BMW (!!) would become involved in today's small bike renaissance is even more incredible!

Interesting little bike to say the least. I'm not sure its something I'd be interested in but it does seem like the competition for the low displacement segment is heating up.

Current rides:
2012 CBR250R ABS
2002 WRX

Awaiting registration:
2001 CBR600 F4i

In the future BMW can do a small sport bike based on G310R. It will be a good competitor to Yamaha R3, Ninja 300 and KTM RC390.

IIRC, they were shaft driven. I ran with a fellow who had one in the late 60's.
