I can't find the plug to put it back on... I'd like to just ziptie it to the upper fairing stay

OK - had to work on the front end of my bike today anyway, so I found my BAS. It looks like it screws into the OEM head fairing (one hole on each side). Because I'm using a track fairing, there's no place to screw it in, so I've just zip tied it solidly to the underside of my instrument panel. These pics may or may not help.

The electronic portion connects into the main wiring harness, right next to the instrument cluster connection.

Ok, the unit in the parts box I assumed was BAS doesn't look like that. This is only 1cm x 1cm x 4cm with a pigtail and connector

So the bike has an Akrapovic carbon slip-on with no DB killer, it seems to be missing from the parts box too.
The bike is very loud and from what I gather it also would work better with it in, any feedback on this?

Me either. I don't remember taking anything like that off my race bike. Just the horn, left side switches, garb handles and mirrors etc...

The BAS was originally bolted onto the back side of the headlight. Make sure you mount it upright, it's marked "UP".

I don't have much to brag about. Last time I rode a motorcycle was March 16th 2014 @ NJMP. Before that it was July (I think) 2013 @ NJMP.

I finally got a chance to get out and race CCS this past weekend (May 2nd and 3rd). I was a bit out of practice to say the least. I had to race some KTM RC390's, a couple EX 250's and a new Ninja 300. I was the only Honda. At NJMP I was doing fine in the corners, but the long straights let the Ninja's get away easy. It kept getting harder to reel them back in again. The KTM's were just gone. I never saw them again after turn 1 from the start.

I did get ahead in one video and I lead the race for most of one lap. It was me and a EX 250 and a Ninja 300 in the race. Very small grid. They got away after a few laps and I was frustrated I wasn't riding as well as I was two years ago. If I was on my game it might have been different.

It felt great to get back out there again and I'm still looking forward to the next race weekend. I have some video and I'll see if I can get it edited and uploaded here. I think the good one was from the GT Lights race that was a 25 minute race, not 7 laps like all the others.
