The only thing I can think of is if your mail is being throttled or its not sending an immediate notification. You may have it set in your user CP to only send you notifications once a day or once a week.

Ah, the User CP.
I'm playing around with it, every now and then.
I was on 'not subscribe'.
I expected that, to not do anything. My bad?
I changed that now to 'no e-mail notification'.
Will see, what's happens next.
Before the forum upgrade, I did not get this "you got quotet" mails. (New function?)
But I'm not sure, if that startet right away, or first after I switched back to the old forum layout

Thanks for the answer!

Oh, one more question:
I switch (have to) between new (not loged in) and old (after login) design.
Is there no way, to get the 'switch to the last post' button back into the 'recent discussions' frame?
It's so easy to follow them on the old layout!

Hello,

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to when you say the 'switch to the last post' button. Can you please post a screenshot of it?

Thank you!

Opsi!

It's the same, that let you jump in the normal forums to the last posted comment.

It's missing in the new design, but available in the old:

Minimum if not loged in.

Most functions are not available when you are not logged into the site. You can pick the old or new skin from the bottom of the page when you are logged in if that helps.

I can even chose the skin, without being logged in.

But why do I have to change to the old skin, to get in 'recent discussions' a link to the last post?
Because it seems, that this link is everywhere else in the forum available, in both skins.
Logged in and logged out
But in the new skin, it's only available in recent discussions, if logged in.

A feature?

Edit:

Interesting, with the new skin, in 'recent discussion', in case someone (I) did the last post, it's marked with a ✔, no link to the last post, any longer

So I think, no log in, no chance, to get the 'last post' link in recent discussions.
It is a feature!
