Well if you mean 100km/h, then i have seen 0-100km/h times of 8.5 seconds.

But if you're talking about 100mph, that is above the bikes top speed of ~90mph.

Greenpeace has got it right. According to Motorcycle News, measured top speed is 91.2 mph. Zero-60 takes a somewhat agonizing 8.79 seconds. The quarter mile takes 16.32 [email protected] 75.83 miles per hour. Another magazine listed top speed at 88 mph at 2,500 feet altitude......
0-100 times shouldn't be of concern, after all this is a A to B bike with a little kick in it. No matter what the 0-100 times may be, it will still be bad hence it's a single cylinder 250cc bike!!

Higher acceleration and higher top speed on the Ninja come at a cost in terms of economy and ease of riding. You pay the money, you make the choice.
None the less, I would have expected more of a match for a Honda in CBR guise. Practical and economical are more CB or CBF

I've read a few different times. Was a bit surprised at the mid 8secs claim. I've seen it supposedly clocked at a lot less than that.
I haven't timed mine but it gets there very quickly. Far, far quicker than any cars at the trafficlights.
Think this guy has a FI mod done.

He vehemently denies he was traveling down a slope. Interestingly, one of the first comparison reviews of of the CBR250R vs. the Ninja 250R in a Japanese magazine obtained a time that would appear more consisent with the time for the CBR250R in the YouTube video (the figures are listed below).

interesting times, other reviews I've read showed the ninja the faster bike, by a narrow margin, especially up higher
I saw him say that before, but many people (pretty much all with a CBR) don't believe it to be stock.The 0-60 mph time of 6.5 secs was completed BEFORE the guy actually did the FI mod.
Just reading the new comments on the vid before posting it yesterday and he was saying:

Whether he's on about before or after I don't know, but afterwards he did post a top speed of 171kph.
I do find it hard to believe that he can do 0-100kph a massive 2 seconds faster than what major motorcycle magazines said they could, and that he can take it almost 10kph faster than everybody else that has got one. I've taken mine to 155kph, the fastest I've read anybody else going is 157kph I think.
These two points make the vid suspicious.
