hi once more!, :)

Ive ridden 300 kms now. I have read around in the forums earlier and saw few people giving their bikes in for first service at 300 kms, 600 kms.

The showroom has told me to give it in at 1000kms. I was thinking it was a bit too long.. is it? is it not?

what do you guys think?

BTW. i have been maintaining the proper RPM limit and other things mentioned in the manual for the break in period.

the showroom is correct....your first service is at 600 miles or 965.6064 km or somewhere there abouts...that is not set in stone, I had my 1st service done at 530 miles because it was convenient at the time and my dealer said that was perfectly acceptable.

....the break in period ends at 300 miles or 482.8 km...it is after this milestone that you can finally start giving it full throttle and start redlining the rpm's on the motor. basically ride it as hard as you want to here on out.

Hope this helps you out
