so I went to honda service center to have my XLR piston ring replaced. the emission of smoke started when i changed the oil with top1 brand with the belief that it could increase engine performance because it adds lubricity. But I was wrong.

Is it actually true that the emission of smoke indicates of a damaged piston ring?
