Hi everybody my first thread with many more to come
So my bike is grom with a 2012 cbr250 conversion
Basically the bike is a cbr in a grom frame
I’m having some electric issues lately.
I turn the key
1.Fuel pump
2.solenoid clicks
3.No crank
Voltage at battery is 12.7
Voltage at solenoid is 12.7
Voltage to starter is 12.7
I experienced this problem after replacing my stator cover gasket.
I have triple row leds and there is no dimming of lights just a no crank issue
Solenoids clicks like a rabbit on coacaine

any help would be appreciated

1. measure battery voltage with bike off
2. measure battery voltage while pushing start button.

these 2 numbers will tell you everything you need to know to fix this problem.

Did you measure the voltage at the Starter as you hit the Starter Button?

A clicking solenoid usually means the cranking voltage of the battery is too low. If the solenoid was clicking I don't think you would see 12.7V at the starter when you hit the button.

I'd recommend fully charging the battery, then taking it to an auto parts store to have it load tested. Most will do this for free.
