Ok, this may be a lame question, but here i go anyways. I weigh just under 210 lbs, so will this bike be considered too small for my size? This is the only thing holding me back from putting a deposit on one of these awesome bikes.

Not according to basil. 100 kg. = 220 lb.

Ahh, good to know. Thanks for the reference.

Darkside! I share your concern as I am 200# and 6'1". I am more concerned about ht. than weight. You kinda don't want to look like the bike is too small for you ! That said, a number of forum members have said "no worries" (who have seen or own the bike). Also , one of the magazine reviews had a 6'3" editor who said he was comfortable on the bike...not too cramped with the legs, etc. They showed him riding but he was in such a crouch that it was hard to tell if he would have "appeared" to be too big for the bike.
I personally have a deposit down and will make the judgment when I can see and sit on a cbr250..........I think the bike is going to be a lot of fun!
Thats good to know i'm not the only one with these thoughts. My local dealer said that he expects one to arrive this week or maybe next and that no one has put a deposit on it yet. I really want this bike, but i really want to see it first before I commit. The one CBR 250 that is expected to arrive is red and i had my mind made up that i wanted the black one. However, i've heard other members say the red looks better in person - we'll see.
What would be the max load on the bike would you say before its not worth buying ?
Think how much weight you'd have with a passenger on the back. You won't accelerate as quickly if you weigh 250# than 150#. Good incentive to lose weight. I tip the scale at 190 and I'm 5'- 11". I know I'm trying to drop a bit, 175 is my goal.
I am 220 and 6'. I figure after riding a ruckus for 2 years and a vespa gt200 for a year I can only look less silly on this. Plus, who cares what you look like as long as your having fun! Mechanically it has been documented that neither should be an issue.
I feel better already. On a side note, i've been checking dealers here in Tennessee and i found one 1 hour from my home who does not charge any doc / prep fees. Needless to say, my deposit is going down this Friday.
I'm 6'4" and to be honest the CBR250R does feel pretty small. I've had a seat the bike a couple of times but have yet to have a testride. Both my local dealers have demos of the bike at the moment (common practice in the UK) and I'll try to have a ride sometime in the next week or so. I didn't feel too cramped on the bike however and provided it doesn't interfere with gearchanges, then I'd put up with the small size of the bike - yes I'll look a bit daft on it but who really cares? A long testride should reveal all. All the test reports I've read are positive, sounds an excellent bike for all types of riders.
I weigh 220 and had a blast riding the wifes GZ250.

Beep! Thanks for weighing (no pun intended) in. I will look forward to your demo ride report...us taller guys are on the high side of Hondas' design parameters for this bike. You are right, all the test reports are so positive so I hope it works for us. A 6'3" test rider did not complain about the ergos........
I'm only 5'-11", but I found sitting on it I had lots of room. I saw it at the bike show in Cleveland earlier this year.
I'm 6'2 180 with 34 inseam. I could not imagine fitting on this machine after sitting on the 1000. I don't know how they do it but it is totally different, I liked the 250 immediately. Bought it on the spot. Put sixty miles on it and I can't wait to get back on it.
Went to my nearest Honda dealer this morning to arrange a testride. Totally understaffed, probably due to some wedding or something, so didn't get chance to arrange one. Had a seat again and am even more sure that this bike will be just fine for my height. Don't know how Honda almost always get the ergos right on their bikes, this bike is now exception. Anyway I'll try my other Honda dealer next week - I'm sure they'll be better at spotting a potential customer (I've bought 4 bikes from them, but none from my nearest dealer - I wonder why??). In summary, despite no testride it felt just fine for someone with long legs - not a lot more leg bend than my V-strom, but a less upright riding position.
I appreciate seeing all the posts from taller riders..makes me feel more comfortable. My inseam is 34 " also and have not been able to see the bike as yet...It is amazing to read the owners initial ride reports and their enthusiasm..even from those who own other larger bikes.......
I put on 250 miles with no real pain or soreness. Sometimes I feel like I could use 1" risers, but the bike is perfect when you start cutting around. I have felt some slight pressure on my wrists. My arms are a little straight when sitting upright.

There are a lot of different positions to ride this bike. The seat is actually very roomy, letting you get back or forward. It feels almost standard if you are all the way up against the tank.
