Finally got my first bike ever on Monday and I've been riding it ever since. I love the cbr and the black color scheme looks awesome. Thanks to everybody on the forum for all the information and opinions that are posted here.

Gonna try to post a few pics of my bike up at wataga lake here in tn.

Where did you purchase yours? I rarely saw places around here that sold them but ive been seeing them pop up all around here lately.
I picked mine up down at Southern Honda in chattanooga when they were having that big sale. I had tried to talk to the few local dealerships near here, Jim's motorcycle here in JC, atlas in Bristol, greeneville Honda, and even MR Motorcycle in Asheville, but the only dealer that would even attempt to negotiate with me was MR motorcycle. All the other places said that they were sticking to the msrp and added a bunch of dealer fees.

Very satisfied with southern honda and the help they gave me. I had to pick up the bike and some gear and they gave a good deal on it and loaded up the bike in the truck really well. The only thing that they bothered me with was that they kept asking if I wanted to buy the extended warranty. They weren't pushy about it, just kept in asking and asking.

No problems with my bike yet but I am still learning how to ride it, i only seem to stall it once each ride now so I think I'm getting better there. Also sometimes I miss shifting in to second and put it in neutral but that just takes practice t get it down right. I did put on frame sliders myself and even that was pretty easy, 3 bolts and then a good tug and the fairing pops right off.
