2012 CBR250R sold out

I just talked to my dealer. They sold eight CBR250Rs this year which is all that they had. They tried to order two more but Honda told them there aren't any available. The next closest Powerhouse dealer still has seven more in stock. It may be that only the Powerhouse dealers will be able to get more or that they may even run out. If you think that you want a CBR250R this year you won't want to haggle over the $300 profit fee they are adding to the sticker price. Especially if it your local dealer that you should want to support.

My dealer said they couldn't keep them in stock, they've sold more 250R's this year than any other model. When I came to pick mine up, they had 1 tri-color, 2 blacks, and a vacant spot in the middle which I assume used to be where mine was parked. He said they have 2012's in crates, but mine was one of the last 2011's in stock.

I hope Honda planned more accordingly for the popularity of this bike. I'd hate to see them raise the price again in 2013 because of demand. (That's why I chose the 2011 over a 2012, because they already raised the MSRP once!)
I have never seen another one of our CBRs on the road.
If you listen to "them" you never will, it's not powerful enough for the road.
