2012 CBR250R sold out

I just talked to my dealer. They sold eight CBR250Rs this year which is all that they had. They tried to order two more but Honda told them there aren't any available. The next closest Powerhouse dealer still has seven more in stock. It may be that only the Powerhouse dealers will be able to get more or that they may even run out. If you think that you want a CBR250R this year you won't want to haggle over the $300 profit fee they are adding to the sticker price. Especially if it your local dealer that you should want to support.

Here in Whitby Ontario (30 min east of Toronto ) our Honda dealer has 12 or so still in stock . That's where I bought mine and they have the red and black models to chose from .

That dealership sold roughly 10 or so 250's so far this season .

When I bought the first model year of the newly-redesigned Ninja 250 I didn't see another one on the road for over a year. Just because you don't see one on the road in your area very often doesn't mean they're not selling like hotcakes elsewhere.
Now I see new-gen Ninja250s everywhere. Just takes a while before a new model becomes a common sight.

Yep. It's a shame really because the bike is so nice but people here are stubborn and borderline stupid. At least I'm certain that I'll never mistake my bike for someone else's in the parking lot! lol

I have yet to see another one on the road. I've heard of them though.

I'm in mobile and I feel the same way. Nothing but 600s and 1 liter bikes here. A few ninja 250s. My wife says she's seen a few Cee bees but I haven't. It'll take a few yrs guess

i also talked to my dealer but he also said that there are not drastic changes just a little bit. i think still he haves 5 more bikes.

The dealer I got mine from, sold 13 so far this year. And they won't have a black one until July. And was selling them to people who lived as far as an hour away..because of the good deal. They were(and still are from what I hear) the only dealer around selling them for less than $4400.00 Other places are trying to sell them for $5000-5100. Hmm..maybe that's why a higher priced dealer was calling me for 2 weeks straight trying to get a hold of me after I got a price and never came back.

I've only seen one other 250R on the road since November 2011 and I drive/ride every day. And I live in big city, granted not really that many bikers.
