Hello to everyone! Well I just got my CBR last Thursday on the 24th of May.
What a great little sport bike! I love it! Cant wait to take it north
to the hills. Savannah's kind of flat and boring with lots of gusting wind.
But I've managed to find some curves in the last few days. Boy does
this little wipper snapper love curves! As soon as I can download some
of my Go Pro footage of one of my first few rides I will. I look forward
to talking, learning and on ocassion, maybe adding a thing or two my
self to the conversation. Looks like a pretty decent forum. Look forward
to future conversations. Got tropical storm beryl knocking on our door
here in Savannah for the next couple of days. So my tri-color cbr is
in the storage barn in my back yard all covered up nice and safe. I
hope by Wednesday I can be back at it, curving the flat lands of SAV!

Thanks for all the welcomes. As for the storm. Everything has been real calm so far. Angela happens to be my favorite female name by the way.
Why? Well, thats my wife's name.:) I have made some cool vids with
my Go Pro mounted on my tank. But now my dumb @#* has to figure
out a way to put them on here. duh:confused:

Yea, my birthday is May 17th. My lovely wife actually got
a new car on my birthday, and I got me self a new cbr!
I've been riding motorcycles since I was knee high to the
kick stand, lol. However, My CBR250R is the first sport bike
I've owned. Most of my previous street bikes have been
750's or higher. The thing I love about my CBR is the fact
that it's not a "super bike". And that's fine with me! I love
not being bothered by the need to use all this extra power.
I can actually just straddle that puppy, cruise relaxed while
laying in some low mean curves. Its all about the wind in
my buzzed hair, the smells of Gods great outdoors running
straight up my nose and the feel of the warm sun on my
arms. Kicked back flying with my tires on the ground! It's
so great taking 90 degree curves above 45mph. If ya'll will
allow, a bit of advise for new riders. KEEP YOUR HEAD ON
A SWIVEL AT ALL TIMES WHILE RIDING! NEVER BRAKE
WHILE LEANING IN TO CURVES IF YOU CAN HELP IT, AND
BY ALL MEANS, NEVER FORGET TO CANCEL YOUR SIGNALS!
