I understand the 2016 model has early (2016 one cylinder) and later (2017 two cylinders). And there is a difference in the headlight, in the first models one headlight, in the later a twin of headlights. I guess there are more differences.

Try asking at your local Honda's garage, I'm sure they'll give you reliable information there.

The difference may be mainly in the engine (single-cylinder versus two-cylinder), but I'm not sure.
