600 Mile Service Question

I was just wondering...how much does this usually cost?

I asked the service guy at the bike shop today and he said 'Between $400 - $600. That seems pretty vague to me.

How much did you pay?

Thank you ...great advice in there.

Looking at it, i'll be happy to pay $250 max as long as I know the valves have been inspected and adjusted accordingly. (If needed, of course)
