Wifey was working and I wasn't, our son was out with his mates and the sun was shining. A pretty rare combination in my world so I made the most of it and got out for a 100 mile circuit taking in some of the delightfully green and undulating countryside of Salisbury Plain in central southern England.
The highlight was whilst I was stopped at a viewpoint munching a chocolate bar, the RD owners club chose the same layby to take a break during their group ride-out. The crackle of two-stroke twins certainly took me back a few years, although one of their members did tell me that it's a rare run that doesn't have one of their bikes breaking down!
