My 2011 black cbr 250 is the 11th bike I've owned and currently have a 08cbr1000 and a 06gsxr600 track bike. I'm literally going insane on wondering why in the world Honda decided to manufacture the intake nozzle of the air box under the seat AND pointed backwards. It seems like there is no head on airflow like you see with every other bike.
My question: Would installing an extension of the snorkel leading to the side or front of the bike be that much more beneficial?
I am positive it would, the reason I ask is because this may be a better alternative than doing the "removing the air box cover or intake snorkel technique". I am purchasing a two brother carbon black series full exhaust and a juicebox (hate on it -.- .. PCV is overkill for a 250 in my mind) and am just brainstorming on alternatives that can be done on the intake side of the bike.
Thanks much
