I'm looking to buy armor as a replacement to my current tourmaster padded jacket and came across the AlpineStar Bionic 2 Jacket and the Dianese Safety Jacket Wave ranging from $240USD to $340USD. Does anyone have any of these and can rate on comfort, protection, value, and aesthetics? I live in Texas and it's hot 9 months of the year.

Instead of my tourmaster since it's mesh with soft pads. I plan to wear a leather jacket over it (with no padding), but I'm not sure if it will be unbeareably hot. I was really looking at the whole upper torso- not just the back protector.
