Everyday sneakers that can be ridden in - that’s clearly what Alpinestars was going for when they designed the brand new Joey shoes, and they definitely hit the mark. The Alpinestars Joey shoes may not come equipped with track-ready protection, but they do offer more than a standard pair of shoes. Dual-density ankle protectors and reinforcements in both the toe and heel provide lightweight protection without making them feel clunky, stiff or heavy.
Alpinestars offers the Joey shoes in two versions, standard and WP (waterproof). The Joey WP shoes feature a wax treatment on the outer shell and a waterproof membrane lining that helps keep water out while remaining breathable. Both the standard and WP also share a plush, airy mesh lining on the collar and tongue to aid in keeping your feet comfortable.
