This device has probably been mentioned here, but I thought it would be worth posting this just in case. I'm patiently waiting on T-REX to make their frame sliders available again (still out of stock, argh..), but until then I'm using this-

Wheel Cleaning Stand

So sure, it's not a replacement for stands - but it does make cleaning & lubing the chain and cleaning the wheels MUCH easier than moving the bike. I picked this up at Harbor Freight for $25.

Any feedback on this "Wheel cleaning stand" from Harbor Freight? Thanks.
Oh I ended up returning it shortly after I got it. I couldn't figure out how to keep the 250R's OEM exhaust from hitting the support. It was marking up the exhaust and I didn't feel confident using it.

I solved the problem by parting ways with my 250R for a 2011 600RR, which came with swingarm spool threads. :)

How could that roller stand (linked to in your opening post) interfere with the exhaust, as it just sits on the floor, and the rear tire sits on top of the rollers?

Seems like you're taking about something completely different, such as a rear paddock stand that doesn't work, due to clearance issues with the stock CBR250R exhaust.

Oh ####, sorry - I thought the question was in reference to a rear swingarm stand from Harbor Freight, obviously from another thread a few years ago.

The little wheel cleaner above is great, you just need to make sure it's lined up straight or it'll move a bit from side to side. I still have mine.

Thanks to the OP's post I looked into this gizmo and ordered one, just $24.95 plus shipping. I wondered about using the side stand too, or if it would mount the bike upright without using the side stand. Will be trying it out this week when it comes in.

Ok, it's pretty simple and works great. The stand won't hold the bike upright. You have to use the sidestand, but prop the sidestand up with something like a block to get it upright. It made chain cleaning/lube SO much easier!

I have a set of T-Rex stands that I bought to use with the rollers on my old Ninja.
I have to say that since I've been using them on my CBR the swingarm supports are solid enough that I've never felt any need to add rollers to my CBRs swingarms.
They do an excellent job without them.

Hmm. I wouldn't mind that for my front tire while the rear was on the stand so I could spin and clean the wheel..

@TrueFaith, The T-rex rollers are pretty nice but IMO not worth the $$ if you like using the swingarm. I got mine for really cheap from a user on the forums when I bought my bike. I mainly need them because I put my bike on a stand with a hill and all, so I just feel more secure with the rollers. There isn't a flat paved spot around my house at all.

Picked up a swingarm jack from harbor freight for 29.99, They are on sale now and having a sale first week of June, atleast the ones near me.
Have yet to try it and hope it clears my Akra pipe but so far looks like it should if I go further up towards the pegs on the swingarm, just afraid to push and prop it up unless I need to do the chain, hmm maybe tomorrow.

This was posted some time ago, but I thought you might like to see another alternative. There is an adapter I made to use a standard M/C jack and I added a square tube (easily removable) to act as a sort of outrigger. Keeps the bike stable, even when moving around on the jack.

I use it for all kinds of maintenance (except oil changes) and storage over the winter.

I doubt I will ever need to use the mc jack, as I have front/rear stands, but in case I feel the need to remove the triple please provide more details on the adapter. Looks like a 1*? Tied to the shifter/brake pedal?
