It was a tough choice. Up at 4:00 am, 63 degrees and raining, 50 miles to work, what should I do? Only one thing I could think of, grab the rain suit and enjoy the trip to work. Wonder what all the people in their cages were thinking as they saw me passing by. But then again, who cares, the ride was for me not them.:D

Nope does not make you crazy... Have ridden in the rain 02 times since i bought mine. One ride was a drizzle the next was a down pour but hey a ride is a ride no matter what the weather is like and that is all that matters.

Craziest I ever felt on my bike was heading out on a dreary 40 degree day. Got caught in the rain in traffic (the ground was warm, so no ice, thankfully). Most miserable I've been on my bike, but still felt kind of awesome.

this weekend was my first rain ride, coming back from a friends house i was caught in the rain on the Highway. By the time I got back to campus I was drenched, wet, miserable, and felt like never wanting to do it again. BUT, I ordered a rain suit and will pack that with me on trips from now on. I kept my phone and wallet in a tankbag that holds out water nicely, so none of those were damaged.

Your NOT crazy, Your a motorcycle enthusiast!!!I ride in the rain all the time and because of a GOOD rainsuit I have come to enjoy it.... My attitude towards riding in the rain may change a little in the next couple of months with it cooling down here :)

I'm leaving for North Carolina this afternoon from work. Forecast for the afternoon is rain and 42F. Mind you, I'm not doing it on the CBR (FJR) and I have a heated liner.

Its all about being prepared. No doubt every car that see's me will either think "Poor guy" or "What a dumbass". Truth is, neither.

What part of Pittsburgh? I'm right next door in Steubenville and come into Pittsburgh daily for work. Maybe we can get together sometime for a ride.
