Where did you get it if you don't mind my asking?
No one seems to have one in black right now; Hayward is the only dealer that has any and they're all red. And also how much did you pay? I could deal with San Mateo Honda but the old fella there has such major attitude problems I'd pay a hundred or two more to deal with someone else.
-On King's Mountain (the poor side of Woodside).

I live in PR (Point Reyes). I don't get my bike until later this week and I'm busy this coming weekend taking care of family but usually I'm good on any weekend.

If you ride through Point Reyes Sta I'll probably be easy to spot. I'll be the old guy (41) on the little red 250R pissing off all the guys on the slow crotch rockets.

It doesn't matter what you ride, you can only go so fast on the tight twisties out here and the light little 250R has a wicked advantage over the porky 600 & 1000cc rockets :D

On another note: I'm truly blessed in that I can also ride slow and have an excellent time doing so.

So if you plan on being out here the weekend after the one coming let me know. Whether it be a fast clip or a mellow stroll I'm flexible. I think it would be a hoot riding along with another little 250 :)

I'm in the Bay Area too... I'm a new rider, so I've been taking it easy and getting used to traffic... haven't gotten on the freeway yet...

As for plates, I got my CBR last Tuesday, the 26th, and got my plates in the mailbox today...

Pete, I bought mine from Fremont Honda/Kawasaki... I have the black, non-ABS version... they still had a red one when I was there...

Hollister Honda has two black ones right now. They are a Powerhouse dealer so they get first dibs.

They even swapped the trim on one black one with a red one. Looks cool.

San leandro here. Bought mine a few months back from holster Honda. Fun little bike. Been riding for years, have/had a couple other bikes but this ine is fuuuuuuun.

Changed out the obnoxious front signals for smaller led ones. Eventually I'll out a fender elim kit on back and an exhaust. More for aesthetics then anything else.
