One day I will have this bike! My last bike was a scoot and I loved not shifting around town, just crank the throttle and haul ass on this Aprilla Mana 850 GT.

Definately on my list for a future bike!

I wanted one for my first bike, but chose the CBR.

Yeah it is heavy. I wish they would produce more cvt auto tranny bikes.

It's not that much heavier than a comparable BMW 650GS, but I wish it was a bit lighter, too, or a bit cheaper. And it has a dual clutch tranny, not a CVT. I suspect that more andmore bikes will have this and Honda is pretty far ahead of the curve on making dual clutch assemblies smaller and lighter.

MotorWeek Two Wheelin': Aprilia Mana 850 - YouTube

Now's the time to buy the regular Mana 850. New 2009 Mana 850, $5995, 2 year warranty. http://www.apriliausa.com/en-US/News/94552/Aprilia+Mana+850+Spring+Sale.aspx

The Aprilia dealer closest to me (Dahlonega, Georgia) had at least 8 of them 3 weeks ago. I was considering it just because of the price and because of the video below, but traded my CBR250R for a '12 Triumph Street Triple R today.

That is a sweet deal on the mana, I might have jumped on that deal had I saw that advertisement b4 I bought my CBR. However, the cbr's 70+ mpg is way better than the mana's 40 mpg avg plus the mana is about $2k more OTD. Also, Aprillas are much more money to maintain.
