On the master cylinder of the front brake there are two(2) small lugs. Can anyone confirm for me if the brake line is suppose to go between them or not? Mine does not and the line makes an unhealthy looking turn at the fitting.
I'll take pictures if needed. Just need to wait for daylight.

I just happened to be out where my CB is stored, so I took a look; the line does not go between the lugs. I don't know what you mean by "unhealthy looking turn" but I didn't see anything on mine that looked that way either.

Often the Master cylinder is generic and fits a wide range of models, so sometimes the lugs are in all sorts of places, and really only there for quick assembly in the factory.
I like to have the brake line not resting hard against any lugs as it stresses the banjo bolt and the non flexible part of the lines when impacted.
At bleeding time or parts replacement I always move the lines to their best position.
