brake line routing

On the master cylinder of the front brake there are two(2) small lugs. Can anyone confirm for me if the brake line is suppose to go between them or not? Mine does not and the line makes an unhealthy looking turn at the fitting.
I'll take pictures if needed. Just need to wait for daylight.

Thanks guys. I pulled a little of the slack in the line up and the hose looks better.
