The " Year Make Model Topic Be Descriptive!" header gets put in by default to keep people from posting topics with no titles. However, if you edit your topic and re-save it, it gets added back. I asked for it to be removed some months back to no avail, and I don't have the privilege level to do it myself.
I've resigned myself for the time being to fixing the thread titles of now, but you guys could help by making sure you check them before you save.
Hi Luke. I was just trying to help another forum member out, by editing the title of the post after this mistake had been made. He said that he's had gone to "Edit" "Go Advanced" and he couldn't do it from there. I created this test to check, and it worked fine for me.
also..another way is..you can go advanced then before clicking "post thread"..click "preview" instead..the buggy title is back..click it once..it goes blank..type first letter of your old title..the old title shows up in blue..click it & it goes back in title line..click post thread...done
