+1 to the 'double facepalm'.
Have you heard of a CBR 600rr/f? double the POWER AND HANDLING for about the same price as a this 250 and turbo setup.
bet I could get the same effect by wiring my wife's hair dryer up and running it at full blast on the "cool" setting.
Wow. Super Lame. Turbo is smaller than my sisters hairdryer. How much boost? .5lbs lol?
How long before someone comes along and says;
'But The cbr is superbike in my country and the only other bike is the Longdong 300 Viagra Supreme'

Then ill say that in my country we have a company that slaps 350c.i. chevy crate engines on harley frames.

haha we have Boss Hoss here too.
Bet that turbo sucks in alot of water when its raining. Useless for daily riding. Wonder what the super charger looks like. LOL
It's beautiful and amazing. 6 psi boost ought to make it a real screamer. Can't wait to see it finished. More pics would be great.

Lol.
turbo using GT15 :
The Garrett GT15 is has a HP rating up to 200 HP. Brand new Garret GT15 (GT1548) turbo is perfect for small displacement engines looking for that extra "boost". Fast spool, Internally wastegated.

running 6psi because we haven't done anything with ecu, injector, intercooler and the turbo itself.
right now we are doing some major change on the turbo by replacing one of blade with other type of turbo so it can spool at certain RPM we want.

when you say "the cbr is superbike in my country" i would say that's correct.
i believe you don't want to spend more then 25000usd for 400cc bike while cbr250 cost only 4500usd.

looking at traffic and rules condition in Indonesia. i think you will understand why i want to do research on cbr250 turbo.

i will posting the result once we have dyno sheet and video.

comments are welcome.
Thanks for participate

Before you troll check your facts, we are living in Indonesia CBR 250r cost 4,6$ U.S Want to know how much a CBR 600, R6 and any bike over 400cc imported? Here I've attached the price list for Indonesia, the CBR 250 quoted in the list is an Imported version which aparently has different specs to the one given to Indonesia main dealers which is already "Nerfed"

CBR600 - 265 Million Rupiah = 29,400$
Yamaha R1 = 260Million Rupiah = 28,800$

The CBR 1000 is almost 40,000$

Its Called Luxury tax which is crazy I know  but we live here and can't do much about it , they are modifications to the bike just enjoy them no need to put the guy down for what he did.

thanks bro.

turbo-ing 250cc is harder than 1000cc R1.
you need to put more effort on everything.
Thanks for the support anyway..

This is an awesome project. Especially since a brand new GT15 turbo only costs around $200. I'm looking at buying a 250 before the end of the year. I've been into civics for a while, primarily d-series engines and everyone always says why add performance to a single cam engine? just buy a B16/B18 instead? same situation here. It's the underdog mentality and power to weight ratio. adding a turbo to anything can be cost effective when fabricating everything yourself. I'm sure you could put one together for around $1000. that's cheap compared to the turbo on my car that costs that by itself. an intercooler would be a nice addition. how will it fit with the fairings? more detailed pictures would be nice. Also running it without adding more fuel at any psi is a HUGE mistake.
