Has anyone fitted larger size tires to thier CBR250R? I am looking at mounting Dunlop Sportmax Q2 160/60 rear and 120/70 front. Any thoughts?

Only one way to find out. Do it.... I was going to do a 150 70 in back but the shop I went to shot that idea down, they said that they couldn't mount that tire on this bik, and they could only put on the size that would fit

Bigger Tires

I used Battlax BT003 120/60 17 for front and 150/60 17 for rear

Grip very good and nice for cornering

Owners manual says 140/70-17 rear and 110/70-17 front.
Front rim 3 inches, rear rim 4.25 inches?
They work very well, and will be replaced with BT003 in same size.

Your will get BT003 in the stock sizes or the +10mm sizes, I am confused which you meant?

Sorry I did not write that well.

Will be changing to road/race Bridgestone BT003 in the standard size that is made for the rim size of the cbr.

The IRC's work very very well but mine are now needing replacing.

I do not expect them to last even half as long as the 6000km I got from the IRC's
