Just got a used 2012 cbr250r with 2500 miles. I’m trying to change the clock and follow the procedure in the owners manual. It will not save the time just reverts back to 12 and never changes even while riding. Tried disconnecting/reconnecting battery.
Anyone have any ideas? Not a big issue just a little annoying.
Thanks for any help.
Hi Bufenboper and welcome to the forum.
Did I understand that correctly that you can adjust the time but it doesn't save even if you press the mode button a couple of times after you're done setting the clock?

That is exactly what I tried. When I hit the mode button at the end it reverts back to 12. And the time is always 12 even if I ride for 20 mins it still says 12. Thanks for the replies and help. I’ll just live with it. Just weird quirk.
Is button just cover on case with actual electronic button on circuit-board underneath? Check that one of buttons isn't continually pressed.
That is.... if you remove plastic cover and buttons from clock. Then press directly on electronic buttons on circuit board, does it set and maintain time?
