Lucky you!!! I think I will call my dealer. He typically knows nothing.
He still knows nothing. Well, he knows he's getting a black non ABS IN JUNE.

that's encouraging news Kim - as i am waiting on an ABS model here in Canada. love to hear your first impressions after a weekend of riding. congrats and enjoy!

My dealer says he'll have his CBR250R's in by the 20th of May. I have first dibs on a non-ABS Red bike. Mainly looking for a bike that I can sit on comfortably with a bad hip and back causing some issues in other leg.

I can ride my XR650L but the seat height is a problem. My Superduke has a fairly high seat as well and the pegs are just a bit to tight now.

Hoping the CBR250R with the lower seat and hopefully low pegs will be a fit for me. I need a narrow bike at the pegs and I'm sure this bike is thin.

In any case I've been riding for over 40 years and have had everything...Harley Sportsters, HD Road King, two Gold Wings, BMW R90S, R90/6, Ducati Monster 900, dual sports, and Sport bikes.

Still love riding but due to some health issues need to down size for now.

So any day I'll know if a CBR250R goes home with me.

Now i see what bikes you had, i recall i actually sold my little cbr125rw to an old small dude who had an Honda Gold Wing
He talked about it weight more than 300kg

I payed cash for the cbr250 back then, i shouldnt have done that cause i was sort of stuck with dealer - i could have got it for over 3 weeks ago
Other dealers in this country allready had it

I told my dealer this on the phone, he said they must have been the first to get the abs versions just to have them in their shop (demo).

The reason i kept dealer was i was told by my repairman that a small dealer provide more service to their buyers - better/proper assembly of the bike when it arrives (grease the right places) - they want to keep their buyers, and not loose them to the big dealers.
I hope he´s right

I have not seen any on a cbr250 all this month i waited, i live in Copenhagen
