I've read somewhere that it is beneath the front/rear seat, looked there, but didn't find it.

No. OBDII ports were only mandated for automobiles. Though I think BMW's may have them.

The Honda scan port is tucked away above the rear fender with the brake light harness. It has a red cap over it.

To the OP: Keep in mind that while this is a diagnostic port, it does not adhere to the OBDII standards (OBDII Scan tool will not fit).

I so wish it had an OBDII port. I wouldn't have to fuxor around with the MPGuino. I could pop in an Ultra/Scan gauge.

Has anyone tried to get data out of the diagnostics port? Is it just a window into the internals, or can you make changes and really stuff it up?
