Ok yeh I know these things happen when you buy cheap junk off eBay lol
Ok I finished work early today & decided to fit my new clear integrated tail light, I stripped down the rear end & removed the stock light.
The new light is almost plug & play, plug in the conector into the stock plug, connect the earth & the two yellow wires go to the turn signals.
The problem is I have no rear running light( park light). Brake & turn signals work fine. I've spent 5 hours trying everything but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas or is this tail light just a dud?

I've contacted the seller & they will send a replacement light as this one has a fault.
I have to send them a pic of this one smashed first lol, sounds like fun to me hahahaha

I ordered one off ebay and the colors on their unit and the bike were not matching. Did you read the paper it came with that said what each one was for and wired it accordingly or just went with the color coatings?

It came with no instructions, it has a plug that goes into the stock plug,a black wire that goes to earth and 2 yellow wires - 1 for each + side of the turn signals.
The stock light has the plug with 1 brown wire that goes to + & works fine if I plug it back in.
I have also heard of many others with the problem so it must be a dud light. The wiring is 100% correct the way I wired it.

The stock light has brake switch wire & negative in the plug & a brown positive wire for running lights, even though the new light has different colours it still wires up almost the same. Red for brake switch, green for earth in the plug ( I'd say that will be earth used for the turn signals and 2 yellow for turn signal positive side.

Just double checking.
Could always plug the running light into a turn signal to test it.

I experience the same too. Brake light and signal lights are working but the steady tail light is not working. I'll ask them for replacement.

I fixed it & sold it... Running a sequential light now
